My enthusiasm for the visual arts is rooted in a child-like wonder and curiosity for life. I have a traditional fine art background (drawing & painting), yet find my sweet spot in the marriage of these traditional skills with leading-edge digital mediums. I employ a variety of tools (oil paint, charcoal, photography, computer software) in the slow and deliberate study of life – its simplicity vs complexity, textures, patterns, and juxtapositions. All this in an attempt to translate what I see into compelling stories, interesting characters, and emotional connections with the viewer
