I am mainly inspired by nature. Much of my work depicts animals and NM scenes. I try to capture the intense contrasts and the striking colors created by the unique light of New Mexico. Most of my paintings start our plein air and are finished up in the studio. It is when I am painting, that my mind finally quiets and I can just enjoy moving colors around to see what happens.
