I was raised in the Midwest on the Mississippi river and collected rocks my entire life. I retired from a fulfilling career in the medical field. Approximately 10 years ago I took a class in wire wrapping, I was hooked. This provided an opportunity to use and display all those interesting stones I had collected, into beautiful and useful works of art.

Wire wrapping is a process of creating a wire frame to incapsulate the stone, holding the stone firm without the use of glues.

My pendants typically utilize 5 to 10 individual wires stacked horizontally to form the frame. Once the frame is completed then a design is made to accentuate the stone. I feel it is important for the back of the pendant to also be appealing. Most pendants require the use of 5 to 7 feet of wire to create the finished product.

Over the years I have cultivated my styles and designs to openly display the stones without creating distractions from the wrapping. The wires used on my wrapped pendants are sterling silver, gold, copper, or a unique silver-plated wire that is tarnish proof. Chains are provided with each pendant.
